November is Friendship Month!

In celebration of friendship the ladies of Western Reserve joined our sister links of the Kent Area Chapter for their Friendship Luncheon.

It was a lovely event and great time supporting our sisters links in the Lake Erie Cluster.

Interviewed by host Keirra Cotton, President, Link Alison, and Health & Human Services Chair, Link Debra, detailed Western Reserve Chapter's commitment to residents in the Central neighborhood. They addressed our focus on impacting health and wellness, and the goals of our Growing Leaders initiative. Western Reserve Chapter of The Links Incorporated joined other community partners to sponsor a 3-act play, To My White Friends Who Know Me, written by Alumna Link Deborah L. Plummer and directed by Tony F. Sias at Karamu House. The play thoughtfully explores the complex and often prickly topic of race relations through the lens of friendships while keeping the audience actively engaged and ready to participate in the post show discussion.
